About Me

I'm Rahul Kataria, a product leader with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from York University, Toronto, which I completed in 2002. My professional journey began as a freelance developer, where I spent 4-5 years honing my technical skills before transitioning into business analysis.

My career path has been diverse and international. After working with companies like Symcor and Marsh & McLennan in Canada, I moved back to India in 2007 to join Fiserv as a Manager. During my tenure at Fiserv from 2007 to 2011, I was placed on international assignments in Milwaukee, Orlando, and London, which eventually led me to settle in London and begin my contracting career in 2011.

Since then, I've taken on various roles that showcase my versatility and adaptability—from business analysis and product management to scrum master and delivery manager positions. I've also delved into transformation consulting, agile coaching, technical engineering, and data roles.

Most recently, I've focused on product strategy as a co-founder and Chief Product and Technology Officer in an EdTech startup. Prior to this, I served as CTO at another EdTech startup in India, where I was a founding employee responsible for building the organization from the ground up.

Throughout my career, I've collaborated with prominent organizations such as Fiserv, Tesco Bank, Ford, Motion Picture Solutions, Vanquis Bank, Ladbrokes Coral, De Beers, Editec, Vodafone, Jet2, Benchmark Capital, and British Airways.
